The location is definitely the hotel’s biggest advantage, with easy access to many attractions. The room was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay overall. However, the cleanliness was only average, and the front desk staff could be more welcoming and professional, except for Seth, who was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful.
This hotel is not a 5 star, but the price does reflect this. Firstly, after check-in we took our own bags and had to find our room ourselves which is fine, but not 5-star standard. Lunch at their restaurant was bad, it tasted pre-bought and reheated. However, breakfast was nice. Our room had mold and was not cleaned properly each day. Only towels/bedsheets were changed on request, and the bed was made. Also the wifi was bad, so we had to use our data. The location is very good.
Overall, it was a decent stay, but there are a few areas that definitely need improvement, especially regarding the room amenities and noise control. The Pros: Excellent Breakfast: The breakfast was really good and rich, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Nice Location: The hotel is situated in a very nice, quiet, and peaceful area. Decent Rooms: The rooms themselves were okay and perfectly fine for a short stay. The Cons: Heavy Door Slamming: The biggest issue is that the room doors slam incredibly loudly. In the morning, as soon as other guests started leaving their rooms, the constant slamming made it completely impossible to sleep. Outdated TV & No Connectivity: The television in the room is very old. It doesn't have any smart features, so you cannot connect your phone or laptop to it. On top of that, the TV channel selection was very poor, with almost nothing worth watching. Verdict: It’s a good hotel if you just need a place to sleep and eat a great breakfast, but management seriously needs to install soft-closers on the doors and upgrade the TVs. If you stay here, definitely pack some earplugs and bring your own entertainment!
This is a truly classy and modern hotel with an excellent overall experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel special from the start. I especially loved the spa and wellness area which was a perfect place to relax. They also have massage programs offered at very reasonable prices, which was a big plus. The rooms were modern, spotless and very comfortable, but the heating system could be a bit stronger or at least adjustable over 25°C for extreme cold winter nights. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city center on foot. I also loved the outstanding high quality breakfast. The only downside for me was the parking garage. Access involves a car elevator and once inside, the space is extremely tight. Getting your car in or out usually requires assistance from valet staff, so it’s not ideal if you need flexible access to your vehicle. It would have been helpful to know this in advance. That said, considering the general parking situation in Hungary, it’s manageable if you plan to leave your car parked for most of your stay. There are also other parking options near. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend the hotel.
