A sophisticated mixology bar in memory of Ernest Hemingway in the centre of Prague. A delightfully serene atmosphere with highly curated cocktails that will flatter your taste buds. We had a ‘Carpe Diem’ which arrived in a wine glass with a side of charcuterie - and a ‘Coffee o’Clock served with a clock crafted on the drink. The cheese platter was versatile and the charcuterie tasteful but the tartare canapé’s were to die for. Bar staff were extraordinarily attentive and knowledgable. A cabinet of curated cocktails bottled lovingly allows you to extend the experience to your home - my choice a truffle negroni. Highly recommended when in Prague.
We found this awesome Old Town cocktail bar at the end of our trip to Prague. It was right up my alley, with incredible cocktails, an impressive whiskey selection, and kind and knowledgeable staff. Our bartender Miki took great care of us and we had a delightful conversation about our mutual love for whiskey and Czech culture. The drinks were elegant and consummate. He also crafted one of the best sazerak cocktails I’ve had! Additionally the 24 year aged single cask Goldcock Czech whiskey was especially delicious. After our drinks, he treated us to a beautiful summer cocktail of strawberry and rose that had our mouths watering! I only wish we get to return one day.
Fantastic bar with a super cool vibe and great atmosphere! The service was truly top-notch. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain every cocktail in detail. We ordered three different drinks, and each one was excellent and expertly crafted. Considering the high quality, the prices were very reasonable. A must-visit spot for anyone looking for a great night out and delicious cocktails!
Hemingway is such a great spot to come to after dinner. We were a big group, so we ended up trying almost the entire cocktail menu and honestly, every single drink felt unique and memorable in its own way. Their version of a Negroni was one of my favorites of the night. They also make a lot of cocktails that aren’t even on the menu -for example, they made me an amazing Basil Smash that was perfectly balanced and super fresh.
Amazing experience! Definitely get a reservation. We were luckily able to walk in on a Wednesday early evening but it packed up quick. The drinks on the menu were all very fun and the staff was so helpful - they even gave off menu suggestions to our tastes. At their recommendation we got to do an absinthe tasting and it was fascinating! The servers really know their stuff. Would recommend to friends who visit Prague
