Welcome to the Robotics Bar: Where Machines Rule the Mix, Not Men! This legendary venue is the successor to the famous robotic bar that once captivated commuters at a yellow-line metro station. The ultimate highlight? Your cocktails are crafted by authentic robotic arms rather than human bartenders. Everything is fully automated. You place your order via dedicated tablets — and there is nearly a baker's dozen of them available. From there, two mechanical arms seamlessly blend the ingredients. Their efficiency is unmatched: a cocktail is ready in under 1.5 minutes. Suspended from the ceiling above the robotic station hang over 100 bottles of diverse spirits and syrups. Consequently, these robots can master hundreds of drink variations. The mechanical arms flawlessly mimic the artistry of a live bartender. It is a mesmerizing sight to watch them shake a martini, add ice, squeeze fresh lemon juice, and pour delicate layers with absolute precision. You can track the entire process on a massive screen behind the bar.The location itself is nothing short of iconic. It sits right within Karlovy Lázně — Central Europe’s largest five-story nightclub, where each floor spins a distinct musical style. You will find the entrance to the Robotic Bar nestled directly in the archway leading to the historic Charles Bridge. There is a slight twist, though: while the robots masterfully mix the drinks, a human assistant stands by to add the final touches, like ice, straws, and fresh fruit garnishes.Admission is completely free. Any alcoholic cocktail will run you about 240–280 CZK (roughly €10–11), while non-alcoholic options are slightly cheaper. You can pay by card directly at the tablet station before the magic begins.
A very nice and unique idea — fun to watch and experience. There is a wide selection of cocktails to choose from. Definitely worth visiting for something different.
Good to experience, quick service as there is only space for around 10 people but wasn’t busy when we went and we sat straight down. Robot makes your drink and someone then brings it to you, interesting concept!
