It is a decent hostel, run by very good service team. Hostel is neat and clean, is right on the edge of charles bridge. Special mention to their reception and service team for being good at what they do.
Had a really great stay at Charles Bridge Economic Hostel. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Charles Bridge—and made exploring the city super easy. What truly stood out was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything, which made the whole experience even better. One small suggestion: adding a clear name board/sign outside would make it much easier to find, especially for first-time visitors. Overall, excellent value and a very pleasant stay!
I am giving a 4/5 star overall but a 2/5 for the room. This hostel first and foremost is conveniently placed and close to many things. That is the best advantage it has. Where it fell short for me was the shared dorm room I had with 8 bed consisted of 4 bunk beds. None of the bunk beds had privacy curtains on them. Not even the lower ones where it could attach to the top bunk. Second there was a lack of charging ports or available outlets. This is the most important thing for a backpacker is to be able to charge their devices. Third there were keyed lockers in the room, but I was never advised how to use it or given a key. There was also no air conditioning so when I arrived the windows were open. Now they would be ok but this hostel is right at the foot of the Charles Bridge. Literally fifty feet away. So there is lot of noise until late at night. Lastly the washrooms had a sept toilet room but the two shower stalls and two sinks are in one room. If it was a single gender room that would be fine but I don’t think ladies want men coming into the shower/sink room when they’re showering. Therefore the door gets locked and no one can use the other shower or sinks. For the price this place is good but if you need the things I mentioned are shortfalls look elsewhere.
Great location - everything is within walking distance from the hostel, including major attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering good guidance and food recommendations. Overall, it was an amazing experience!
The hotel was located right next to the Charles Bridge. The staff were very helpful; even though my check-out time was 8:00 AM, they allowed me to leave my bag in storage until 3:00 PM. They changed the bed linens and provided fresh towels every day. The bathroom and toilet in the room were also very clean. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom. There was a lockable cupboard next to the bed, and also a power outlet. I was very satisfied with everything. I definitely recommend it. I liked it very much, and if I come back, I will stay at this hostel again. The best and most reliable hostel in Prague :)
