Couldn’t have picked a better place for my first hostel experience! The Madhouse has such a close-knit, welcoming atmosphere and I made so many amazing friends as a first time solo female traveller!! The staff really encourage everyone to get involved, with loads of different activities every day and night, plus a group chat that keeps everyone updated on what’s happening. It genuinely feels like one big family. Huge shoutout to Carla for being the first person I met who was so friendly and also to Antonia, Zoe, Ahmet, Caleb, Inês, Yasmin and Leiker for making my stay so special. The location is perfect, the dorms are comfortable with curtains (not all beds have these tho), spacious storage areas and free towels, and the complimentary food items are such a thoughtful touch which you don’t get in a lot of hostels!! Thank you all for an unforgettable stay!! I already can’t wait to come back, hopefully as a volunteer next year! Love and miss you guys 🫶🫶🫶🫶
Mad House was great. From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel welcome, and it quickly felt more like a home than a hostel. The planned daily activities were a fantastic way to meet other travellers, and there was always something fun happening without the need to plan yourself. One of the highlights was the daily home-cooked family dinners for just 100 CZK. It was incredible value, the food was delicious, and it brought everyone together each evening. What makes Made House special is the volunteers. They are some of the most genuine, friendly, and caring people I’ve met while travelling. They go out of their way to make sure everyone feels included, comfortable, and has an amazing experience. A special shout-out to Carla, Iněs, Emma, Yasmin, Ahmet, Caleb, and Ally. You all made my stay unforgettable with your kindness, energy, and effort. Thank you for creating such an incredible atmosphere.
I loved my Stay in the Madhouse. The room was clean and each bed had a fan, which was very pleasant in the heat. I’d particularly like to thank Bianca, who did a brilliant job, even though she was actually off work.
Great hostel, great people, and an even better tour guide. Huge thanks to Emma for making Prague look far more interesting than I had expected. Her tour was definitely the highlight of my stay, and somehow the two hours felt more like twenty minutes
The Madhouse exceeded all my expectations! As a solo traveler, it was the perfect spot to meet people. Between the family dinners and the nightly pub crawls, there's never a dull moment. The team is fantastic and they keep the place impressively clean and well-run for such a social hostel. If you want the ultimate party hostel experience, look no further!
