We booked the Hotel Golden Crown very last minute as our previous hotel booking was cancelled due to a fire. After a long travel day, I didn’t look too much into this hotel; but I’m so glad we stayed here. We had the attic suite and it was HUGE with a great king sized bed and massive bathroom. The front desk staff was awesome and able to accommodate our last minute booking. The location is very central to everything in old town and has great access to transit to get to Prague Castle. The surrounding area had lots of food options and felt very safe. It was also quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in Prague.
I had a wonderful stay and would happily give this hotel 5 out of 5 stars. From check-in to check-out, every interaction with the reception staff was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Cartney from housekeeping, for every cheerful “good morning” and kind, pleasant demeanor. The hotel’s location was perfect, within easy walking distance of Prague’s major attractions, restaurants, cafés, and shopping. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the hospitality of the staff. They made me feel genuinely welcome, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague.
We just returned home after staying here for 4 nights. The first thing that you see is the great location of the hotel. The rotating head of Kafka is just outside the window, and a really good mini mall is across the street (with 3 different supermarkets, pharmecy, some other interesting shops) and public transporatations are also close by. The room was spacious and had everything that we required. It was cleaned daily and was very well maintained. All of the windows are double-framed, so there is very little noise coming from the street. The breakfast buffet had a really good variaty of options, and we even had a wonderful lunch at the italian resterunt, on our last day. I must mention the entire staff (from the desk, resterunt and cleaning) , all of them were extremely helpful, polite, and friendly. Lastly, the price I think was great (and we took the large room) for all of the above-mentioned points. Truly recommend this hotel for a city visit of Prague.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and a big part of that experience was thanks to the two amazing reception ladies. From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with genuine smiles, kindness, and a very professional attitude. They were always helpful, patient, and ready to assist with anything I needed, which made me feel comfortable and valued as a guest. Their positive energy and respectful way of التعامل truly reflect the high standard of this hotel. The service overall was excellent — everything was organized, clean, and smooth. You can really tell that guest satisfaction is a priority here. Because of the outstanding service and the warm hospitality, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.
