Had a lovely stay at this hotel. The family room was spacious and very comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The view was fantastic and made the experience even better. The air conditioning was excellent too, which was especially appreciated during the current heatwave. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again!
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—just a few minutes’ walk from the main square, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are very spacious by European standards, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague!
We stayed here for 3 nights, starting Saturday. We got a bit of a wake up call, when we heard the loud music in the Fat Gate restaurant reverberating onto the 6th Floor, but that was finished sometime after 11.00 pm and we didn't have that any other evening. So that was an unexpected positive surprise. Location is great, for being in the middle of everything. Staff are all very helpful and friendly, In particular Gleb was a wonderful host, pro-actively providing ie restaurant suggestions. we also very much enjoyed the food in the downstairs restaurant in FatGate, where staff were also friendly and helpful.. We would definitely stay here again
The best part of this hotel is its location, truly the perfect sweet spot in Prague. However, my experience at check-in wasn’t the best. When I arrived, no one at the reception greeted or welcomed me. I walked up to the staff member and said I was checking in, and he simply told me I had already received my code and to proceed, without any explanation or guidance. The hotel has two buildings, one with an elevator and one without. I was assigned a room in the building without an elevator. When I entered the room, I was immediately greeted by a strong musty smell. On closer inspection, I noticed multiple hairs on the sheets and pillows, and the carpet also appeared quite dirty. I went back to the reception to raise my concerns. A gentleman in a suit at the second desk, closer to the inner door, he was thin, had light stubble, and wore glasses, was extremely helpful. He personally came to inspect the room, immediately acknowledged the issue, and quickly arranged a new room for me in the elevator building on the 6th floor. He also offered a complimentary late check-out at 12 pm instead of 10 am. The new room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the rest of my stay. Overall, the main issues were the initial room condition and the check-in experience. However, the excellent service from that staff member completely turned the experience around.
Great location to walk around the Old Town, plenty of places to see and to eat. The room was clean and suited my needs as i was out for most of my stay and just needed somewhere to put my head. The music in the restaurant may be a little noisy for some people but I was okay with it as it ended quite early. Would be a perfect location for a solo traveller. We used bus and metro from the airport which was quick and easy to navigate. Had the best burger ever in the Fat Cat restaurant.
