This hotel provides exceptional customer service. They sent Paul to pick us up from the bus station; he was friendly and eager to share information about the city and hotel location. Viktoria greeted us at the door, while our bags were delivered to our room. Frank offered us a welcome drink of water, coffee, or tea, and juice while Viktoria sat us down to go over a map of the city and recommendations for tours and restaurants. She offered to make any reservations for us and book any tours we were interested in (be prepared to pay with cash). Every morning, we were greeted with welcomed smiles and offered drinks to our breakfast table, as well as made-to-order omelettes. The staff seemed happy to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. If I were to nitpick, it would be about our room. We were in room 405. The room did not accurate represent the photos on their website. The ceiling is slanted which didn’t bother us at first, but we did hit our heads several times. The air conditioning worked but we could not get it to go below 25 Celsius, granted it was a very hot week during our stay. There was no place for your own toiletries in shower, no where to put your leg to shave.
This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write a review before even completing my stay. In all my years of travelling, I have never encountered a more welcoming, helpful, kind and attentive team than the one working at Hotel Residence Agnes. The hotel itself is a wonderful haven full of charm, ideally located in a quiet street within walking distance from Prague’s many main attractions. Frank, the owner, as well as Denisa, Stefan and the rest of the dedicated team, spare absolutely no effort in making each guest truly feel at home and I cannot recommend/praise enough this amazing hotel. Perfect in every aspect !
I stayed at Hotel Residence Agnes three nights this June and must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Every staff member I encountered was kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond, they make this lovely hotel very special. The location is wondering, just a few minutes walk from old town. They Orange bar a few doors down was great and there are also several restaurants just a few steps away. I would absolutely recommend, I was traveling alone and felt very safe. Hope I get to return some day soon.
Possibly the best hotel experience of my life so far. Every person on staff is friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms are clean and well kept. Breakfast is delicious. The staff give great recommendations for food and sites to see. Location is great for walking. If we're in Prague in the future this will be the place we stay.
The Residence Agnes is an amazing hotel. The room was overall spacious enough, nice and clean. The breakfast is good quality and had a variety of options. The hotel is well enough located, it has some restaurants near it and is not far at all from a tram station. And the hotel itself was pretty and clean. However what makes this a truly outstanding hotel is its incredibly kind and warm service. From the moment we arrived, everyone was super welcoming. We were offered drinks and someone took the time to explain to us the city of Prague and suggested various activities we could do during our stay. We were also personally walked to a place they suggested we had lunch, and we were offered free transportation from the hotel to the train station on the day of out arrival. It should be noted that most of the employees speak a variety of languages such as English, German, and Spanish, appart from Czech, which makes communication quite easy. Everyone was overall above kind, which is why I would 100% recommend this hotel. It is without any doubts, an exceptional and remarkable hotel.
