We traveled from Puerto Rico and this is absolutely the best bar in Prague! The owner is adorable as well as the other staff. Their music playlist was just perfect! Even my dog was thrilled to be there. They brought him a water bowl and they were extremely pet friendly which is a big plus for me! Can't wait to be back.
Stumbled across this unassuming bar. Down a hallway and then down a very steep stairs, you'd want to be careful if you're already half cut going down them! Bar itself is lovely. A small enough seating area adjacent to the bar area itself and a bigger area next to it with a various array of seating options. Drink selection was large. About 5 draft options from classic pilsner urquell to some home made like beer option, available in small (33cl), medium (50cl) and large (100cl). Medium is 85czk (c. €3.50), large is 170czk (c. €7.00). Vodka and dash of coke/7up/fanta is 185czk (€7.65 - pricey considering it's measured out in a shot glass and spilled as its poured into another glass). Bar man was eccentric, which I later discovered is probably related to him being polluted drunk/stoned. Don't get me wrong, he was very friendly, just a bit cracked, often speaking greetings in various languages to new and returning customers to the bar. The bar itself became a big queue, one customer left after standing in line for 20 minutes. Wasn't helped by bar man doing shots behind the bar / drinking the remains of cocktail concoctions from the shakers. As I sat in the bar, one of the staff lit up a big reefer from which customers who were sitting in the immediate vicinity started mellowing out! I knew it was time to leave when I had to repeat a one drink order 5 times before I got it. All in all, nice, lively spot but perhaps better to visit earlier than later in the evening.
A fantastic local pub with a really warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were genuinely friendly from the moment we walked in, and the service stayed consistently upbeat throughout our visit. It’s the kind of place where you feel looked after without it feeling forced. Great selection of drinks, good energy, and a proper traditional pub feel. Would definitely pop back in again.
My absolute favorite bar!! Best prices in the center of the city. Such a nice ambiance and never too crowded (unlike Irish bars around😭). Has wifi all around and the owner is super nice and has the best local advice. My go to bar for futbol matches.
