Prague City Residence

For this price it's an ideal hotel. Not that bad location, around 8 minutes walk to public transport. Room was great, with a well-equipped kitchen(although it would be nice to have some dish soap), clean bathroom, comfortable bed, dark curtains in bedroom. If I were to come to Prague another time, I would choose this location again.
The apartment has a great location and the host was responsive. However, a few things made the stay less comfortable than expected. The bed is quite small for two people — it's only 140 cm wide, so it feels tight if you're sharing. Adding a couple of pans to the kitchen would be really useful. The biggest issue was the noise. At the moment there is a construction site right nearby, and heavy trucks pass constantly throughout the day. It gets very loud, especially if you're trying to sleep or work from the apartment. Earplugs or white noise helped a bit, but it was still disruptive. Overall the place is decent and clean, but I would recommend it mainly for solo travelers or people who don't mind noise and have minimal cooking needs. Future guests might want to check if the construction is still ongoing before bookin
The room was big and spacious. Overall clean. No window in the bathroom and the backyard was a construction site. Although it was quiet and peaceful hearing only birds. Walking takes 5 minutes to the Tram station and connection to the inner city is pretty good. The service was ok. Asked for a room in a lower level upfront via email and got one in the highest. But wasn’t a problem to change it. Trash had to be taken out ourselves.
Spacious rooms, quiet location but a bit to walk to public transportation. Clean rooms, reasonably equipped kitchenette, good beds and mattress. On cold days heating comes to a limit, additional blankets would be a plus. Check-in and payment of city tax works, but not to the times announced. Flooding with E-mails, but contact to questions somewhere between difficult and non responsive. No personal outside 9-11 AM, no luggage lockers for luggage deposit on arrival or departure day, which is a significant draw back.
I’ve stayed at Prague City Residence three times within the past year and I’m already planning my fourth visit. The location is excellent. Ubers usually arrive within just a few minutes, which makes getting around incredibly easy. The apartments are very spacious. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, a clean and modern bathroom and a large balcony. The beds and even the pull-out couches are comfortable, which I really appreciated during longer stays. The Wi-Fi runs at around 100 Mbit, perfectly fine for work, zoom calls and everything else. Housekeeping provides all the essentials you need for an extended stay and the WhatsApp support with the reception is always available and helpful. Another great advantage is the flexible booking policy: You can cancel or modify your reservation up to two days before check-in, which gives you a lot of flexibility when planning your trip. The entire building and all rooms work with access codes instead of keys, so you never have to worry about forgetting or losing a key. There are only two small downsides worth mentioning: 1. There was construction work going on seven days a week, so you can sometimes hear it, but the windows are very well soundproofed, so it never really bothered me. 2. We had the option to pay an additional €40 for a professional cleaning, but we decided to simply borrow cleaning supplies from the housekeeping staff and do it ourselves, which was totally fine with us. Overall, the Prague City Residence remains one of my absolute favorite places to stay in Prague and I’ll happily return again.
