Hands down the best cocktail bar we found in Prague. Walking in, we honestly wondered where we'd ended up — the decor is unlike anywhere else — but that's exactly the charm. The signature cocktails on the menu are incredible, and if you ask, the bartenders will happily mix something custom 'off the menu' based on your taste. What made us come back the very next day was the whole team — genuinely warm, attentive service without ever being pushy. If you're visiting Prague and looking for a hidden gem cocktail bar, put The Alchemist bar at the top of your list.
Very cool small bar , drinks are very original with logo large cubes (see pictures). Nice music selection best in Prague so far.
Great place centrally located in / near old town Prague. Nice ambiance and decor. Veronica took great care of us, gave great drink recommendations and was very kind. Glad we stopped in!
Such a beautiful and atmospheric hidden bar in Prague’s city center! I had walked around this area several times but never noticed it before, so I was really surprised by how unique the interior was. The place feels cozy, magical, and full of vintage details, with candlelight and a lovely view of the National Museum and Wenceslas Square from the window. It’s a perfect spot for drinks, photos, and a relaxing time with friends. The drinks are a little pricey, but definitely worth it because they have a unique taste and presentation. The waiters were also very friendly and helpful, and they recommended drinks based on our preferences. I would love to come again in winter to enjoy the view and try different cocktails!
The Alchemist Bar is easily one of the coolest spots in Prague! The staff was incredibly welcoming and clearly experts at their craft—they made the whole experience feel special from the moment we walked in. The cocktails here are next-level. We tried "The World" and the "Death by Penicillin," and both were absolute standouts. "The World" was balanced and unique, while "Death by Penicillin" is a must-try for anyone who loves a smoky, bold whisky drink with a serious kick. The atmosphere is dark, mysterious, and perfectly matches the "Alchemist" theme. If you’re looking for high-end drinks and a vibe you won’t find anywhere else, this is the place. 5 stars all around!
