Excellent location but could be noisy in the evenings. Room was clean and comfortable, towels changed daily. Lift to all floors but 3 steps to get to lift floor, breakfast buffet style with plenty to choose from. For a mini break it's fine.

The hotel location is really great. I didn't need a car at all because everything I wanted was close by, especially the astronomical clock since it's the main attraction. But honestly, I'll share my experience. I'm a very light sleeper, so it was pretty annoying waking up every time the bells rang, especially at night when it's quiet. Also, the room had a really strong air freshener smell, which felt too much for such a small space. I didn't like the shampoo either, it felt more like hand soap than actual shampoo. I kind of regret adding breakfast to my booking since I can't cancel it. It was underwhelming, and the options are very limited and not what you'd expect from a luxury hotel. When I ate the omelet, there were even small pieces of eggshell in it. I have stayed in many hotels ranging from 3 to 5 stars around Europe and the Middle East, but this is the first time I've stayed in one and found the room without an electric kettle and tea/coffee. The bed was very low. I'm glad my husband's hip injury has healed, or he wouldn't have been able to use it, and we might have had to cancel our stay and look for another hotel with higher bed. The pillows was really worn out, like something you'd find in a one-star hotel. For a moment I freaked out, I thought it was hair stuck on it. Since it's an old building, it was also annoying to find very small black insects in the bathroom.

We came as two couples, 9th to 13th March 2026, and had rooms 202 and 302 (delux rooms) in the annex, which is basically next door to the main building. The rooms were very spacious, light and airy with fantastic views of the astronomical clock and the old square. Staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Big shout out to the porter as it’s no mean feat for him having to carry heavy bags around the hotel. There is no lift in the annex, so be prepared for lots of stairs, but this is understandable in such an old beautiful building that dates back to 1410. The breakfast room is set in the main hotel, and is very grand, with a great choice of food and over looks the square and astronomical clock. The hotel is ideally located for exploring Prague. Overall a fantastic stay and would go back. Thank you all so much for a memorable break at this beautiful hotel. The Kay’s and the Smith’s

The most perfect location in Prague. We had a lovely big room towards the back of the hotel in an adjoining building. There were many stairs to climb, other than that we had a very restful 2 nights. No street noise, and didn't give any time in the room other than to sleep so lack of view didnt bother us. Breakfast in cafe mozart was adequate. A beautiful room overlooking the astronomical clock. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the castle, probably about 15 if the crowds of people weren't around.....ie 8am in Winter. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
