We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. A special thank you goes to Anna at the reception. She was exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Her friendly attitude, patience, and willingness to assist made our stay even more enjoyable. Employees like Anna truly make a difference and create a memorable guest experience. Thank you to the entire team for the great hospitality. We would be happy to stay here again!
Hi! Service was nice, welcoming and kids friendly. Breakfast was all fresh and various. Yummy snacks and new baked breads were always served at table. Receptionist Hanna was so nice and so helpful. We got help with taxi, room service and local language right away when we needed. Location was perfect. It was just 5stations to the city center and 3min walk from the hotel was big shopping center with attraction for kids, Dinopark and playground.
*Mixed Experience – Great Staff, but Room 401 Needs Some Attention* I recently stayed at Hotel Carol for 3 nights in an Executive Room (Room 401). My stay was a bit of a mixed bag. There were some definite highlights, but also a few technical issues with the room itself. The Room & Amenities - The Good: It was hot in Prague during my visit, so I was incredibly thankful for the efficient air conditioning. The room was also located on the quieter side of the property. - The Bad: The soundproofing between the room and hallway was quite weak. Additionally, there were no blackout curtains, making it tough to sleep in. The Tech Issues: The Wi-Fi signal in 401 wasn’t strong, and roughly 85% of the cable TV channels were not working. Suggestion for Management: To fix the connectivity issues, installing a Wi-Fi repeater on each floor or securing the network with a password might improve the internet connectivity and stability for guests. Service & Staff The saving grace of my stay was definitely the team. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout. - Arsemi (Reception): A huge shoutout and big thanks to Arsemi, who handled both my check-in and check-out. He is new, but he has great customer service potential and was a pleasure to deal with! - Dusan (Restaurant): I also want to highlight Dusan at the restaurant, who was an excellent server and provided great service. - Breakfast Team: The entire breakfast team deserves a mention as well. They are incredibly hardworking and keep everything running smoothly. When I brought up the Wi-Fi and TV issues at check-out, the reception team candidly noted they couldn't do much about the Wi-Fi at that moment, but promised to have maintenance look into the cable channels. Final Verdict I would stay at Hotel Carol again but hopefully I would be assigned a different room than 401, and I'd hope to see the internet connection and TV channels properly fixed.
We had a three-day trip to Prague and stayed at this hotel. The staff were very kind, both at the reception and the housekeeping staff (lady with short hair). At the beginning, we had a small issue with our room, but it was quickly resolved. Overall, everyone was very helpful, and any problems we had were handled fast and efficiently. The location is also quite good. We were traveling by car the whole time, and it’s possible to park at the hotel. However, it’s important to reserve a parking spot in advance. We didn’t do that, so we parked outside, which was still okay. The breakfast was very tasty, and we all really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Overall, we had a great experience. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We would definitely come back!
A wonderful place to stay if you have an event in the o2 arena. Comfortable rooms, own parking but most importantly - a wonderful crew. From the cleaning ladies who went above and beyond, the lovely Ukrainian lady supporting the breakfast, through the reception desk (special shotout to Viktoria Mahurska, Hanna Yalova, Grace, Anna, Julia and Karel) and head of corporate, Mr. Martin Novak, who remembered about my wife's request and secured the room at the original price a week ahead from the event. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay easy, comfortable and made us feel invited and taken care of. If I would improve one thing, it would be breakfast - very good for one or two nights (especially homemade bread and hummus!) but with longer stays (4-5 nights), a greater variety would be much appreciated. Overall, a great place to stay, can't recommend it enough!
