Greatly located in the center of all nice attractions of Prague. Delicious breakfast and amazing service. Beware of stairs though. Many rooms require stairs climbing after elevator.
Good location. Room size ok. Helpful staff. Things to note - 4th floor rooms don't have lift access so need to carry luggage from 3rd floor - AC is centrally controlled so need to request reception to activate it - No telephone in room to access the reception but what's app response is good.
I booked Residence Karlova by mistake, as I was aiming to book Hotel Karlova Prague. However, it turned out to be a very good accidental choice. The location was excellent, right next to Charles Bridge in Prague, and the room was spacious and clean. Overall, we had a great stay. However, I would have appreciated it if they had clearly specified before booking that there is no elevator. We were placed on the third floor and had three large suitcases, which I had to carry up and down. It was exhausting. One day, by mistake, we put the “Do Not Disturb” sign instead of requesting room cleaning, and they respected that, so our towels were not changed. I contacted them through Booking.com, but no one responded until the next day. They explained that they could not provide anything in the afternoon, so guests should be aware that there may not be on-site staff available to assist at all times. If you are okay with these points, Residence Karlova is a great place to stay, especially because of its excellent location. Just be mindful that there is no elevator and that staff availability may be limited. On the positive side, they do have a washer and dryer, which was very useful for us. We were able to wash and dry our towels and use them again.
The hotel is exactly what you are looking for in Prague...it is in a perfect location, near everything! The room is clean, breakfast is good and the mattress is perfect. Also even though the reception is 8 - 8...we needed a taxi for the airport earlier than that and they ordered it for us and everything worked out perfectly. Thank you for a great stay!
Great rooms. Incredibly clean, comfortable, and very tasteful yet understated interiors. Well equipped with amenities like heated towel racks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They made sure we were aware of the full extent of their services.
