We had a great experience at U Parlamentu. It is a pleasant place to enjoy traditional Czech cuisine in a warm and authentic atmosphere. The food was delicious, with generous portions and classic local flavors. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The restaurant offers excellent value for money and is a great choice for anyone who wants to try genuine Czech dishes while visiting Prague.
We had dinner at U Parlament last night, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Prague. We ordered the pork knuckle and the goulash, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The pork knuckle was tender with perfectly crisp skin, and the goulash was rich, hearty, and full of flavor—exactly what we were hoping for. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a beautiful historic setting that made the whole experience feel authentically Czech. The service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. If you're looking for traditional Czech cuisine in a memorable setting, U Parlament is well worth a visit. We'd happily dine here again.
Went there for Lunch. The Portions were quite big and very enjoyable. The staff was quick to bring everything and the food tasted great. The homemade lemonade was great and especially with the current heatwave even better, especially since it was 1liter. Will be visiting again for sure
This is a great restaurant for Czech specialties, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is second to none. We had the goulash followed by the Bohemian Cheesecake which just melted in your mouth. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area. They also serve the dark beer excellent.
We heard about U Parlamentu from local Czech people, who told us it was one of the best restaurants in the Old Town. We went there on December 23rd. There was a queue of around 10 people in front of us, so we had to wait outside until our turn. With a small child and cold weather, it was a bit challenging, but after about 20 minutes we were warmly welcomed inside. We were 8 people, including 3 children, and we ordered almost all the traditional dishes on the menu. Everything was delicious and very well prepared. We also tried the local blonde and dark beers — a bit light, but still good and pleasant to drink. The staff were extremely kind, professional, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great place for authentic Czech food, and we definitely recommend it.
