The hotel’s location just outside the hustle and bustle of the center ensures you avoid heavy traffic, yet the accessibility remains great. The executive rooms were spacious and provided every comfort. Furthermore, the restaurant boasted a diverse menu with a wide variety of meals. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to Angela for her outstanding service.
Recently stayed at CzechInn for a couple of days this weekend. We found the hostel quite nice and not a bad location. Rooms were clean. I’d recommend staying here but be aware, everything you have to pay for or pay a cash deposit for ex. soap, towels, hair dryer which was just different to see at a hostel. The washrooms were nice, however we noticed each sink was dirty the entire stay.
We had a wonderful stay at Czech Inn and would happily recommend it, especially if you're looking for a hostel with private rooms in a great location. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, with the reception team deserving a special shoutout for always being helpful and accommodating. The private room was much larger than we expected, giving us plenty of space to relax after long days exploring Prague. The room itself was very clean, and despite one minor issue, housekeeping standards were excellent. The only thing that stood out was a slight smell in the hallways, which seemed more like an old-building characteristic than anything related to cleanliness. One thing to note is the air conditioning. If you're someone who likes to keep your room very cold, this may not be ideal, as the hostel uses centrally controlled AC and guests can't adjust the temperature themselves. That said, even during some of Prague's hottest days, the room remained comfortable enough. We just would have preferred having our own temperature controls. The hostel has plenty of thoughtful extras. There's a great coffee shop downstairs serving delicious coffee at very reasonable prices, along with a comfortable workspace that's perfect if you need to get some work done. They also sell several travel essentials at reception, which is really convenient. The hostel laundry was unfortunately out of service during our stay, but there's a laundromat about a 10-minute walk away, so it wasn't a major inconvenience. The biggest highlight for us was the location. The surrounding neighborhood has a great local feel, and the hostel is just steps away from the 21 and 22 tram lines, which can take you to almost anywhere you'd want to visit in Prague quickly and easily. Overall, Czech Inn offers spacious rooms, excellent staff, a fantastic location, and great value for money. We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit to Prague.
This was my first time staying here, and I was specifically looking for a budget-friendly option. At first, the price seemed reasonable, but I later realized that several basic essentials came at an extra cost, including towels, bathroom toiletries, a locker lock, and even the small locker near the bed. One thing that stood out was the overall cleanliness. The laundry carts were often filled with dirty towels and bedsheets and were regularly left in the lobby area near the lifts. Since you pass through that space frequently, it didn't create the best first impression. I also felt that the general hygiene and cleaning standards could use more attention. The common kitchen is quite small considering the number of guests the property can accommodate, which can make it feel crowded during busy hours. On the positive side, the staff was genuinely friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay, which is the main reason I am giving this place 3 stars. Overall, this is a decent option if you're looking for a cheap place to stay and mainly need somewhere to sleep, freshen up, or change clothes between sightseeing, which was my purpose as well. The connectivity is good, although the property is about 1.5–2 km from the city centre. Just come prepared for the additional rental costs, and I hope the management can improve the hygiene and housekeeping standards going forward.
If you are looking for an affordable and unforgettable stay in Prague, this is the place to be! I can’t speak for the hotel part, but the hostel/shared room section is excellent and makes your trip incredibly cheap. All you need is a small padlock for your locker to sleep with peace of mind, and you are good to go. The best thing about this place is how easy it is to socialise. Thanks to the communal kitchen and the huge reception area, it’s impossible not to make friends. During our stay, we hung out with people from all over Europe, including Spain, and made great friends with travelers from Germany, New Zealand, and France. The staff is also amazing and very understanding. One night before going out, they let us drink inside the facilities. At one point, we were playing cards with some Germans and got a bit too loud, and the staff asked us to lower our voices, but they did it in a super polite and respectful way. The location is another huge plus. It’s very close to the center, and there is a tram stop right outside the door. Tram 22 passes right there, which connects you directly to every single tourist spot, nightlife area, and point of interest in the city. As Erasmus students traveling on a budget, this hostel was an absolute savior. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Prague for cheap without missing out on a great international atmosphere!
