Belvedere Hotel Prague

If you are in Prague to explore the city and not spend all day at your hotel this is probably the best choice anyone can make. I stayed here for 4 nights in June and they were probably the four best night’s sleeps I’ve ever had in my life (I have half a mind to email them and ask what bedding they buy). Apart from that there is a stocked mini fridge, good free WiFi, very low noise, fully opening large windows, and a very simple yet effective free breakfast on offer with high quality fresh fruit, coffee, breads, cakes, pastries and a selection of meats and eggs with much more. The location is great as there are a couple of different trams you can use get right into different parts of the city centre in about 5 minutes. The cleaners were lovely and one of them even tracked us down after we had accidentally left something in our room. One caveat is that in some rooms the shower is too low for having a proper shower but just ask at the desk to change rooms and they will accommodate. Couldnt possibly ask for more at this price point. Obviously there are better hotels but if you’re after a budget trip to explore the city then you will be very happy with this one.
I highly recommend this hotel! Our experience was fantastic from the very beginning. Service & Check-in A huge shoutout to Michal at the reception desk, who took care of us. He was incredibly professional, kind, and explained everything clearly. He even went above and beyond to arrange an early check-in for us and didn't charge us an extra penny for it. That is what I call top-notch customer service! The Room Our room was spotless and very neat. It featured a perfectly working A/C, a very clean bathroom, and an extremely comfortable bed which made for a great night's sleep. Breakfast The buffet-style breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of food to choose from, and everything tasted delicious and fresh. Location & Surroundings While the location might not be right in the absolute center, it is still very convenient. It is located close to Letná Park (Letenské sady), which is a wonderful spot to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Prague and grab a great Czech beer. From there, it's just a pleasant 20-minute walk to Charles Bridge, so the location is actually really good. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again!
First thing I noticed is that there are only 2 power outlets in the whole room, which are located behind furniture, and you need to unplug the only lamp in the room to do so… They are also almost on the floor. Second thing I noticed was that the shower has hairs all over the walls. It has also the lowest water pressure I have ever seen. The sink has more pressure than the shower itself. I would be better showering in the rain! It usually takes me 5-10 mins to shower, it took me 30 mins because it was taking so long rinsing myself off. The water temperature seems fine at first and then it gets scalding hot really quickly no matter what side you turn the handle. Be careful when you get out, because it’s really slippery and the shower is super high. It is also clogged, so the floor gets full of dirty water after less than a minute. Also, you can only change your towel after 3 days or they charge you. The doors are extremely loud no matter what you do, I am talking loud BANG’s in every single room so good luck sleeping! Good points: there is a recent A/C unit and the location is pretty good.
Great hotel for reasonable price. There are a lot of tram stops everywhere and you are literally a 5 min ride from the Paris ka street and the old town. There's also a breakfast from 7 to 10 which is not bad at all. My only 2 dislikes about the hotel where that is was a bit too noisy and you could hear the neighbors, and also the shower head is spraying mist instead of strong stream of wather, so taking a shower was quite a callange. Other than that I totally recommend the place 👌. For that prices is totally worth.
