While the facade of the building is impressive, the small shopping center on the ground floor, the music bar just below it and the vicinity to public transport stations and various sights is incomparable - the rooms are uninteresting and plain and that is the only bad piece of critique you'd hear from me. The staff is fantastic, it feels secure to visit, it has luggage storage, restrooms in the reception area, snacks fridge and comfy waiting area as well as the coolest vintage elevator going for it - but no view out of your window and our room (we'd been through two) was a designed a bit out of the ordinary. For example, the sink and mirror were outside the bathroom, there is no safe or mini fridge or any shelving of any sort which was difficult because we had expected a small table at the minimum and more than one chair for a couple's bedroom. But everything else - location, service, hospitality - was redeeming. Before booking, do consider the tradeoff between a (presumably) nicer room with a view and the noise levels, which is to be expected considering the great location in a nightlife hub on a busy street.
I recently stayed here for a friends stag party, there was around 19 of us. The hotel itself is located perfectly in the centre of prague with easy access, to bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes and local tourist locations. The rooms are clean and tidy with everything you could want for a short city break, only reason why its not 5 stars on the rooms is that they don't have windows, but apart from that, all was fine. I must also offer special thanks to the hotel team, I realised that I left my reading glasses at the hotel and got in touch to with them to organise them sending them back to England. Thankfully they came back in one piece and they were super responsive & supportive throughout the whole process whilst communicating via whatsapp. For anyone wanting an ideally located hotel in the centre of prague at reasonable prices, look no further than Národní Stay.
Perfect location in walking distance to everything. Room was big and spacious. Bathroom was accommodating. Room was also very quiet and the beds were comfortable. Perfect place to stay when visiting Prague.
Firstly the hotel is in a great location, easy to find with the instructions provided by the hotel after booking. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Our room however wasn’t the best. The room was clean and had what you need, good value for money but it was very noisy at night, you could hear a lot of people going in and out all night talking very loud and the doors would slam. I will also point out that our room was located in a stairwell on the second floor, seemed a bit out of place and you didn’t exactly feel like you was still in the hotel, I was okay with this as I’ve stayed in worse places but my partner felt it was sketchy. Other than the noise and odd room situation, a good value for money hotel for a few night stay.
