Nice place for stay in praag. Near the center, you can easy walking to the city and old town. Inside is cold when we back from warm weather outside. You can find parking outside for tourist @ purpel parking and easy to pay by the parking machine there.
Had a very good experience at Riverside Residence, the location is nice and the apartments are very well equipped and clean with a charismatic architecture. Would definitely go back if in Prague again!
Our family of five had a wonderful stay at this residence during our winter trip to Prague. The apartment was incredibly spacious and modern, providing plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. We especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the in-apartment washing machine, which made managing a large family much easier. The location is excellent, as it sits right along the river and is within easy walking distance of major sites like the Charles Bridge. Having a large playground directly in front of the building at Dětský ostrov was a huge bonus for the kids even in the cooler weather.
Where should I begin? First of all I was given the wrong appartment than I had reserved. I had been given a smaller appartment even though I booked the superior appartment with a balcony. I had called the reception, which is 24/7 available, and they said all was fine with the booking and I had received what I had booked. The room had no curtains in the bedroom, the doors dont close properly, there is not enough wallplugs to charge phones and the appartment complex is super noisy. This was only the tip of the iceberg. After the first night, and second day in the city, we arrived at 1:00am back to the appertments to find the power had gone out. Once again, I called the reception and they replied to only check out the problem by 8:00 am in the morning due to their "staff working hours". Being that a power outage is not the worst thing in the world we let it be. After we hung up the phone we saw and enormous amount of water on the ground by the kitchen. The boiler was leaking large amounts of water, on the kitchen cabinets, electrical plugs and onto the ground. We called the reception again and asked them politely to send someone over to check on this issue to prevent: 1. water damage 2. a fire 3. carbon mono-oxide poisoning, seeing as these detectors are not required here. We received the same reply from the reception: our staff only work from 8:00 am till 23:00 pm. Even though we cleary stated the dangers we were in, not only us but the whole building. We received no help from the owners of the hotel and we were busy till 4:00 am searching for other accomodation to stay in and calling booking.com to see if they can help us. This all ended in us having no choice but to sleep in the appartment with the windows open, shutting of the water supply to the kettle ourselves, and being scared to sleep. We woke up at 8:00 am to somebody installing a brand new boiler into the appartment, without notice.
