Description
Begin your tour at the crypt where 7 paratroopers where hiding for three weeks. Your private guide will explain what happened in the church and in the crypt. You will have enough time to explore on your own as well.
Next, you'll visit the area where the high-ranked Nazi official Reinhard Heydrich was assassinated by the two paratroopers, Gabčík and Kubiš. The street does not look like it used to in 1942, now containing a small monument next to which you will talk about the moments surrounding the assassination.
Finally, you will drive to Lidice, a village which was burnt down on 10th June 1942. The inhabitants were either killed on the spot or sent to concentration camps as a brutal Nazi revenge to the assassination and killing of Heydrich. You will discover a large memorial and meadow together with a statue of 82 children, representing the kids from Lidice that were gased in Poland. The tour ends in the Prague city center.
