Description

This absinthe tasting takes place in a 15th-century cellar in the center of Prague. During the 75 - 105 minute experience, you will taste 10 different types of absinthe from Bohemia, Czechia, France, and Switzerland. The tasting includes blanche, verte, rouge, and macerated absinthes. Each is served with water to demonstrate the louche effect. You will learn about the history of absinthe, production methods, key differences in styles, and see two different serving techniques. The group is limited to 12 participants. The tasting is guided in English and includes water and expert commentary. Ideal for visitors interested in spirits, history, or local culture. The experience is hosted in collaboration with the legendary Green Devils Absinthe Bar, where the tasting takes place.

• Please arrive 5 minutes early. The tasting starts at 3 PM (Prague time) sharp. Late arrivals may miss part of the introduction. You’ll enjoy 10 absinthe tastings — 8 distilled and 2 in the Bohemian style — along with two different preparation methods. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, perfect for both curious newcomers and absinthe lovers.
