Description
Vienna, the capital of Austria, is a 3 to 4-hour drive from Prague through the scenic regions of Bohemia and Moravia. The tour begins with sightseeing along the Ringstrasse, a historic boulevard built in the 1880s on the site of former city walls.
Next, you will visit the southern edge of Vienna where the former imperial summer residence, Schonbrunn Chateau, and its gardens can be explored at your own expense. Afterward, return to central Vienna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A walking tour of Hofburg, the Habsburg's winter residence, is available (entrance fee not included), followed by a visit to Saint Stephen’s Cathedral. The lunch break also allows time for shopping before the return journey to Prague.
