Great location, right below Hradčany. Very helpful staff. The room had a large bathroom and air conditioning. An unusually large selection at the breakfast buffet. I recommend it to everyone. There are several good restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer on-site parking.
We ended up here thanks to a recommendation from the wonderful Phillip at Hotel Klarov, are we ever glad he made that call! From the moment we arrived, everything was great. The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location was awesome. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel Golden Star exceeded every expectation and made our stay truly memorable. We’ll be back!
My first impression was very positive; the hotel smells wonderful, though unfortunately I didn’t find out what the scent was—but still! We were greeted very warmly and pleasantly; the receptionist, Olya, was very friendly and kind. She also recommended quite a few places to visit. As for the rooms, they were clean and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and I was able to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom had plenty of towels and two bathrobes. The hotel is just a couple of minutes’ walk from Prague Castle, and there are plenty of convenience stores nearby. Breakfast was delicious and quite varied; I’ll definitely stay here again next time.
Excellent location near public transportation and within walking distance of the castle and monastery. Breakfast selection was amazing and varied. Enjoyed the stay very much! Thank you!
I love the quirks of this hotel. To get to our room from reception you actually go outside, sort of, around an atrium. It feels very posh, very quiet and very original. People who work here are super friendly. Breakfast selection is great and they have gluten free and vegan options, including dairy free milk option. View from our room was amazing and the bed was super soft. Shower has a good jet and the bath is big enough for a good soak
