Incredible value! I stayed solo here in May for 3 nights and I can't rate it highly enough as a budget option if travelling to Prague! Paid around £59 a night which included a decent sized room with single bed, a private bathroom with shower & amenities, as well as a free breakfast included and other essentials such as AC, desk, wardrobe & hangers & even a safe deposit box. Location is incredible, could see Charles Bridge from my room and was never too loud or busy with footfall to be an issue at nights. I walked the Bridge on my final day at sunrise as it was a stone's throw away thanks to the hotel's location. Location was also excellent knowing that I could run back to the hotel at any point near key sites to refuel or drop things off rather than being way out of the city! It's a couple of minutes walk away from both Malostranska Metro A line (useful for departing to catch the airport bus or for travelling into Old Town) & Malostranske Namesti Square which serves multiple tramlines to get round the city. Area is safe, with key card & PIN needed to access the property after reception staff left for the day at 7pm. Staff were excellent on the desk for checking in & out, letting me leave luggage for the day. Rooms are cleaned every day if needed. I tried the breakfast first day but this was probably the only thing I'd mark down as the selection wasn't great (Fruit, Cold Meats, Pastries) but was buffet style and for the price certainly not a bad spread. Overall I cannot fault this hotel, an outstanding price and value for money for a few night's stay. Will recommend this hotel and area for anyone staying in Prague. Can't wait to return to this beautiful city & will 100% look to see if the Hotel Certovka is available next time I go!
We had a great stay. The location is very good and staff friendly. Breakfast is included and was a great way to start our day.
Loved this hotel, the location is absolutely amazing, close to everything and easy walking to the Prague Castle which was amazing, we spent over 3 hours and loved Golden Lane. The hotel staff were amazing and friendly, the room was large and comfy and warm and had tables and chairs which is rare and much appreciated. Free coffee and tea from the breakfast area from 2pm onwards. The location attracts ridiculous amounts of tourists especially around the weekends, never seen so many people but you ca understand why in such a beautiful place. The hotel is right at the foot of Charles bridge and there’s lots of cafes and restaurants, bars etc just up the road. The amazing Shakespeare bookshop is just around the corner. Highly recommend to see all the attractions in Prague.
Great little hotel, perfect location close to Charles bridge. Very friendly staff, let us check in early as our room was ready. Rooms are very spacious. Ours had a partial view of Charles bridge
Very good location. Decent hotel in a safe and central area. Rooms are quiet and clean, maybe the carpet is rather old fashioned. Breakfast is just ok. Location is nice, just at the Charles Bridge. Air conditioning was not working but the radiator was more than enough, room was warm enough. There is a refrigerator in the room, no slippers. It was nice to stay.
