Reviews
A sweet hotel that’s a short walk from all the sights, but out of the fray. It has a ton of character and spacious rooms. The roof deck is a special treat in the evenings. The breakfast is great and included with the price.
Very nice hotel in a historical building with the charm of high ceilings, a wide staircase, and great design. Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is amazing, the location is unbeatable, and most importantly, the staff is great. We were greeted by Marcela. Warm reception, super helpful advice, and second-to-none service. We'll be happy to stay here again.
A beautiful hotel with tons of character, not a generic chain. An English library, a roof terrace and a tree in the lobby all helped make it a unique experience. The staff were all really friendly, even offering a complimentary check-in drink. The breakfast was delicious too, a huge range of hot, cold, savoury and sweet options including homemade pastries and cakes that changed every day. I definitely will be returning, especially to try out their spa.
Overall impression of the hotel was excellent. Was there with a family for 5 nights in a room with a double bed and one one-person bed. Rooms are relatively large for a hotel and clean, shower room is also large enough to actually wash yourself and not just get wet in a closet and is well supplied with standard essentials. Breakfast was pretty good. There are basically two menus that flip every day. Our favorite was cacao and the darker version of the grilled sausage that was a bit spicy. While the hotel is technically within walking distance of old town tram stop is just around the corner and a bit more convenient with trams coming every few minutes during the day.
We stayed at Hotel Julian for 3 nights at the beginning of December. The hotel is well situated close to the centre of Prague (either walking or tram) but far enough away to provide a quieter environment where you can relax after a busy day sightseeing. The rooms are well appointed and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast offers a wide selection to suit everyone. The receptionist Oxana is amazing, helping us with directions, suggesting places to visit, nearby restaurants and also help booking events. Such a lovely person, thank you. Strongly recommended 😀
