5 stars? Only in your dreams. When you book a ‘suite’ in a 5-star hotel that’s advertised as being ‘up to 60 square metres’, you have certain expectations. Here are the facts: the floor area of the “suite” is 3.5 x 5.5 square metres. As 7 square metres are taken up by the stairs, bathroom and entrance, that leaves 12 square metres for the living area. That’s the size of a prison cell, and that’s exactly what it feels like inside. The “upper floor” is about 14 square metres, though without windows – it’s more like a large loft bed. In total, these “suites” therefore have about 31 square metres of living space. “Up to 60” is thus effectively a deliberate deception of the customer. We would never have booked this for 6 days if a floor plan had been included. The breakfast is mediocre at best – nothing to look forward to. In the lounge, which is far too cold, a TV showing sport is on constantly. And unfortunately, a beer spa without a sauna, but with all-you-can-drink, does not do it for us. The service is friendly, the cleanliness is fine, and the location is excellent. And for the last 2 days, after asking several times, we were given what was probably the only suite that actually measured around 60 square metres, No. 602, right at the top. Hence, 3 stars.

Seamless Arrival and Service Finding the hotel was incredibly simple. The receptionist greeted us warmly in perfect English, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Our bags were promptly delivered straight to our room, allowing us to start exploring without any heavy lifting. Spacious and Premium Room The bedroom was spotlessly clean and tidy upon arrival. The high ceilings made the large room feel even more grand and airy. It was fully equipped with modern conveniences, including a coffee machine, a stocked fridge, and a high-definition Smart TV. Ultimate Comfort The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, keeping the room at an ideal temperature throughout our stay. Unbeatable Location and Breakfast You cannot beat this central location. It sits within easy walking distance of both the historic Old Town and the scenic river. Additionally, the included breakfast offered a fantastic, fresh selection that set us up perfectly for long days of sightseeing. Overall This is a good hotel in a great location for exploring Prague. The staff were efficient but not too friendly at times, especially when we were checking out but I guess everyone has a bad day.

This is a beautiful hotel in A great location. It is right across the street from a mall and the tram is right in front of the mall. The 3 person room we had was huge and super clean. The beds are firm but very comfortable. The bathroom is big and has great water pressure and a huge shower. The towels are super fluffy and slippers are provided. Our room had a mini fridge that we found very useful as a grocery store is in the bottom floor of the mall so we were able to buy drinks and snacks to keep in our room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They kindly allowed us an early check in. A delicious breakfast buffet is included and is served starting at 7am. It has a very nice selection of hot and cold foods. The best breakfast we have had in Europe ever. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Michael Angelo Hotel Prague and highly recommend it to anyone coming to Prague.

My family of three stayed at Michelangelo Grand Hotel in Prague at the end of November 2025 for almost a week, and we loved it. Steps from it you get the rotating Kafka head which was cool, the location is perfect to walk everywhere whether it’s to the Astronomical clock or to the Charles Bridge. The hotel room is very spacious with high ceiling. The best part is the breakfast, which is included. It is a buffet style breakfast that has so many selections. We stayed for almost a week and when we left we really missed it. Prague is one of my favourite cities and we had a great experience. Service was nice and we had nothing but nice things to say about this hotel.
