This visit will allow you to immerse yourself in the history of Bohemia during the Golden Age of Prague. From the Old Town Square to Charles Bridge, enjoy the most emblematic sites of Prague as well as the great achievements launched in the 14th century by Charles IV, King of Bohemia and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. Learn more about the destiny of the Czechs and in particular their fight to free themselves from the domination of the Habsburg dynasty and the Catholic Church through the development of one of the first Protestant churches in Europe, the Hussite Church.
Learn how one of Prague's famous defenestrations sparked the Thirty Years' War and what terrible consequence it had for the people of Bohemia.
Thanks to this visit, you will learn why the two monuments located on the Old Town Square and which face each other (the monument to Jan Hus and the Marian column) are so contradictory. You will have a description of the clock allowing you to learn about its many details and to learn more about the 3 time measurement systems that were used in the Middle Ages.
