Description
Begin your nighttime Prague walk at Old Town Square as the crowds thin and twilight falls. Hear stories of the Golem and the Devil’s Bible (Codex Gigas), both featured in Dan Brown’s The Secret of Secrets, while viewing the city lit up and iconic sites such as Prague Castle, King’s Vineyard, and Charles Bridge.
Your tour starts on Paris Street, one of Prague’s most elegant passages, where you’ll see the exterior of the synagogue rumored to hide the protective Golem of the former Jewish Ghetto. En route to Manes Bridge, pause at a corner window revealing the Old Town’s charming underworld and visit a site once used by alchemists for experiments.
Crossing the bridge, enjoy spectacular views of Prague before taking a tram up to the 12th-century Strahov Monastery. On the way down to Prague Castle, pass the Hole to Hell and the Marian Pillar, then arrive at the front gate of Prague Castle.
End the tour with views of the three spires of St. Vitus Cathedral, the medieval Powder Tower, the 10th-century vineyards of St. Wenceslaus, and Wallenstein Palace.
