Czech Cooking Class in Prague for Food Lovers and Curious Cooks

Spend 3 hours learning to cook traditional Czech dishes in a modern studio, ideal for food enthusiasts and those interested in local cuisine.

Description

This hands-on cooking class invites you to prepare authentic Czech meals alongside a local chef. The course takes place in a contemporary Prague kitchen and covers fundamental Czech cooking techniques in an engaging setting. You can also add a pre-class tour of a farmer's market to enhance your experience.

For morning sessions starting at 09:00, begin with a guided visit to a lively farmer’s market. Learn about the unique ingredients used in Czech cuisine, see fresh local produce, and purchase supplies for the cooking class.

Back at the studio, you will prepare and enjoy a 3-course meal. Menus vary by season and personal requests but typically include dishes such as potato soup with mushrooms (bramboračka), Carlsbad goulash with dumplings, potato pancakes (bramboráky), fruit dumplings with cottage cheese (ovocné knedlíky), creamy spinach soup with herb croutons, and main courses featuring rabbit or baby chicken with Easter stuffing and new potatoes. The dessert may be the traditional Czech cake called beránek.

Classes usually end with lunch and occur in the late morning, though afternoon lessons can be arranged on request.
