You start your ride from Martin's Adventures Shop on the edge of Prague, with convenient hotel pickup included. About 97% of the route follows designated cycling paths, mostly paved, through peaceful Czech countryside and lush forests, far from the city bustle.
During the ride, you can stop for a swim in the river or refresh yourself at local bike-friendly cafés and bakeries. The knowledgeable guide can also offer easy shortcuts on dirt trails if you prefer more variety.
The highlight is a meadow hidden in dense forest with a panoramic view of Karlštejn Castle. The castle appears just below, surrounded by forest, creating a historic atmosphere as if Charles IV and his procession are nearby. Guests may choose to join a 55-minute interior tour of the castle (approximately 170 CZK, not included), although the exterior scenery is the main attraction.
