On this private tour, we won't just admire one of Europe's most famous landmarks. We'll find out who Charles IV, the king who made Prague the jewel of the Holy Roman Empire, really was. We'll talk about his surprising life, his ambitions, and the legacy that still defines the city centuries later.
But the story doesn't end with him. You'll also get to know his son, Wenceslas IV, a king so different from his father that he changed the course of the kingdom. And, of course, you'll discover the tragic story of St. John of Nepomuk, whose legend lives on over the Charles Bridge more than six hundred years later.
Our tour will take us through some of the most charming places in Malá Strana. We'll explore Kampa Island, visit the oldest park in the neighborhood, where peacocks roam freely among centuries-old trees, and see the famous John Lennon Wall, which has become a symbol of freedom and creativity.
We'll also pass by the Franz Kafka Museum and discover the narrowest street in Prague, so narrow that it even has its own traffic light.
Throughout the tour, I'll share stories, interesting facts, and little details that usually go unnoticed by most visitors. My goal isn't to recite dates, but to help you understand how the history, legends, and characters that shaped Prague are still present in every corner of the city.
