Description
The Bohemian Paradise lies about 60 minutes northeast of Prague, offering rugged and fairytale-like countryside landscapes. This eight-hour e-bike tour begins with a safety briefing and bike training to help you handle the hilly terrain.
Ride through rolling countryside and past lakes to Trosky Castle, where you take your first short break after about 10 kilometers on mostly country lanes and gravel roads. Fans of the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will recognize various spots along the route.
Enjoy a fast downhill ride to the lakeside village of Nebakov, where lunch is served. After refueling, cycle through a narrow gorge bordered by tall sandstone towers formed millions of years ago by a receding ocean.
The highlight is a ridgeline double track trail offering multiple panoramic views over the Hruboskalsko Rock Town, an area filled with sandstone towers. Near the end of the ride, you pause at two medieval castles perched on sandstone cliffs.
This tour requires a moderate level of physical fitness and some biking experience. The effort will be rewarded with a memorable day of riding and sightseeing.
