Prague Castle is a historic symbol of the Czech lands, dating back to the 9th century. It has housed Kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman Emperors, and Czech presidents, making it a cultural landmark.
Begin your visit by collecting your admission ticket and online audioguide at the office on Maiselova 5. You will also receive a detailed map of the castle complex. Follow the recommended route on the map, designed by professional tour guides, to maximize your visit.
The online audioguide requires minimal mobile data (up to 100 MB) and provides written and audio content about important interiors, artworks, sculptures, and historical figures. It is recommended to start at St. Vitus Cathedral and continue through the other main attractions.
The ticket allows admission for two consecutive days, with one entry to each included attraction: St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica, and Golden Lane. This flexible ticket takes the hassle out of visiting such a large complex.
