Discover Prague Castle with a German-speaking guide and explore its most beautiful courtyards and viewpoints – without wasting time in long lines for the interiors, which require paid admission. At the end of the guided tour, you will visit Golden Lane with our guide, which is already open to the public free of charge at that time. This tour is ideal for those who are already familiar with Prague's Old Town and the Jewish Quarter and now want to discover Prague Castle as well. Your tour starts at Křižovnické náměstí, under the statue of Charles IV. From there, you will cross Charles Bridge in the direction of the Lesser Town and continue to the “Malostranské náměstí” tram stop. You will take the tram (ticket included) for a comfortable ride up to the castle – without the hassle of climbing stairs. Once at the top, you will explore the Royal Garden and walk to the presidential office and Hradčany Square, which overlooks the German embassy. You will visit the exterior of St. Vitus Cathedral, pass through the inner courtyards of the castle, and reach the famous Golden Lane. The tour ends here—just in time for free admission to start at 5:00 PM, so you can continue exploring on your own afterwards. The tour does not include the interior of the castle, such as St. Vitus Cathedral or the Palace, but focuses on the most beautiful outdoor areas.

Paid admission to the interiors of Prague Castle, such as St. Vitus Cathedral or the palaces, is not included in the tour. The tour includes a visit to the courtyards and the grounds of Prague Castle, with explanations about the castle's history and legends. At the end of the tour, you will walk down Golden Lane, which can be accessed free of charge from 5:00 PM (from 4:00 PM in winter).

• Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. An umbrella is always a good idea, as the weather can change rapidly. The tour does not finish at the starting point. Please be at the meeting point 10 minutes in advance. The tour departs on time, and we cannot wait for latecomers (no refunds are available). This tour is offered in German only. Unfortunately, anyone who does not have a good command of German will not be able to participate (no refunds available). Our on-site tour guides may refuse entry to anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs (no refunds available). Young children under 5 years old may find the duration and content of our tours overwhelming. We recommend taking this into account when considering whether to bring them along. For the well-being of all guests, we ask that you please do not bring pets, as dogs can quickly feel overwhelmed by the crowds we encounter along the way.
