Description
The Old Town Hall, established in 1338 on the Old Town Square, served as the seat of the town administration and consists of five connected buildings. Its most prominent feature is the Gothic tower, which houses the unique astronomical clock. Every hour from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, the clock displays the twelve apostles rotating above the square.
The tower is the oldest town hall tower in the Czech Republic and was once the tallest building in Prague. From the top, visitors enjoy extensive views of the historical city center, including landmarks in Old Town Square, the Prague Castle panorama, and numerous architectural towers, turrets, and domes across the city.
