We loved our stay here. The hotel is very conveniently located, at walking distance from almost everything plus very close to metro and trams. Our room was very nicely furnished, spacious and had nice views. We appreciated the little extras that made our stay extra comfortable, e.g. the coffee machine for a quick caffeine fix. There is also quality food and a good selection for breakfast that we enjoyed in the lovely courtyard.

My friend and I stayed here for 1 night and had a great time. Very friendly service, convenient location (quiet area but still very close to the old town) and nice rooms. We really liked a small terrace in the backyard where we could relax, talk and drink coffee after breakfast. Small details like bathrobes and high-quality toiletries made our stay exceptional. Reasonable price for an excellent experience.

This hotel is such a great find. Excellent staff (looking at you Daniel), rooms were gorgeous and breakfast offered a multitude of options. Location is also perfect. Not in the tourist packed square of old town but accessible to everything walking. Can not recommend highly enough.

It was a truly wonderful experience staying at this hotel, where a century-old building beautifully blends modern comfort with historical charm. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options, making each morning a pleasure. I especially loved the cozy basement room, where guests could enjoy good coffee and tea—it was the perfect spot to invite friends for a relaxed chat, and it stayed open until 10 pm. The staff, especially Philip and Daniel, were exceptionally helpful and accommodating to all our needs throughout our stay. We will definitely come back again.

Overall, my experience was not what I expected for the price paid. The room size was good, and the hotel is very well connected — close to the metro and tram, and within walking distance of major tourist attractions. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special. The selection was the same every day, which became repetitive during our stay. The biggest issue, however, was a serious safety problem in the room. One of the drawers fell down when my wife opened it because the legs were broken. The drawer had clearly been left in that condition. This could have caused a serious injury — if it had been my child, our holiday might have ended in the hospital. The “solution” provided the next day was simply removing the legs and leaving the drawer in the room completely unusable, which felt careless and unprofessional. Considering the price, the quality and level of attention did not meet expectations. For the same cost, we could have stayed somewhere with much better service and safety standards. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel.
