Description

We will meet at the departure of the Malostranská Metro station, central station of the small city. From there we will take a tram that will take us to the Castillo neighborhood. After having passed the control of the castle, we will visit its 4 courtyards, the Cathedral of San Vito, whose construction took 1000 years and in which there are the tombs of the patterns and kings of Bohemia. We will go down from the castle on the street of Jan Neruda, one of the few streets that still retains the mystical symbology with which the houses were marked before María Tereza I of Austria. Back again in the small city, we will pass through the column of the plague and the church of San Nicolás, whose prominent domes will be able to see from the Carlos Bridge. Throughout the bridge we can observe the baroque sculptures of the saints of Bohemia, and between legends and mysteries we will stop asking for a desire in the sculpture of San Juan Nepomuceno, a mandatory stop for anyone who wants to return to Prague. On the other side of the river we will be in the old city. It will be time to recharge energies, so we will eat in a typical Czech restaurant and with a good jar of beer you will be ready to continue your route. Our next stop will be the Jewish neighborhood, characteristic not only by its precious synagogues, within which is the Spanish synagogue, but also because of its cemetery. We will pass through the church of San Nicolás, the home house of Franz Kafka and on the street of Paris we will arrive at the Plaza de la Ciudad Vieja, where we will see the monument to Jan Hus, the church of Our Lady of Tyn, the old City Hall and we will decipher the mysteries that the astronomical clock hides. We will observe among other things the founding headquarters of the Carolina University, the oldest university in Central Europe, the Cubist House of the Black Madone, the Torre de la Pólvora and the Municipal House, where our tour will end.
