A place I’d recommend without hesitation. The highlight of our stay. We might be right in the middle of Central Europe, and it might sound a bit cliché to go to an Irish pub, but not this one. Beyond its atmosphere, background music, décor and the concert venue in the basement – which we didn’t get to experience, but it looked like it was quite a night. The food was generous and excellent: the goulash, the ribs, the onion rings, the schnitzel (I won’t list the whole menu for you). Most importantly, my friend and I had a chance encounter: two young French lads had the honour of meeting Andy, a genuine Irishman who welcomed us very warmly; we had some heartfelt chats about life with him. A wonderful encounter – so much so that we returned specifically to see him, as well as for the venue itself, on multiple occasions during our stay. Great as always. Very friendly, nice food and nice dynamics in the concerts. I will recommend a reservation. I visit it every time when I am visiting Prag.
Text book Prague underground jazz club. Make reservations and get there early to score decent seats. Tiny venue with dark cave like vibes. Perfect for acoustics. 10/10 would go every night. Food looked pretty standard yet solid. Cocktails were delicious.
An absolutely fantastic jazz bar with an authentic, intimate atmosphere. The live jazz performance was outstanding, full of energy, passion, and real talent. We visited on Christmas eve and was one of the highlights of our trip. Food and drinks were very good, the waitress and the service also top. If you enjoy live jazz, this place is an absolute must-visit in Prague.
