Vegan options available. The dough is veryy good, super fresh ! I order with raspberries and vegan cream, not bad but the cream was too soft no body (6.90€). I'd rather order just the dough, really worth it.

I bought chimney cake with ice cream, salted caramel version (the one in the back of the photo). The caramel wasn't salty AT ALL. Actually, it wasn't even caramel, but some kind of dark syrup. The ice cream itself was two colours - light and brown, but it all tasted the same - it had unidentified sweet flavour with a weird, slightly tangy note. Despite disappointment I wanted to enjoy my dessert, but unfortunatelly wasps flied around my chimney cake the whole time. Wouldn't reccoment sitting outside.

I had the galette with camembert, pickled pear, walnuts and cranberries. The picture I took doesn’t look super fancy but it was really good. I liked the sweet-savoury flavours with the rich cheese. There is a small dining room and garden seating area hidden behind the counter in front. I went at an off time for lunch so it was nice and quiet in the back.

Café U Kajetána, tucked away on the beautiful Nerudova Street, is a great find for vegans. It’s a small outlet, clearly geared more towards takeaway, but step inside and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan trdelník options available. We tried the vegan cinnamon trdelník, and it was fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. If you’re vegan and exploring this part of Prague, this place is definitely worth a stop.
