Chettinad Indian Restaurant, Prague – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife and I visited this restaurant not quite knowing what to expect, since most Indian restaurants in Europe tend to fall short on authenticity. We went in with cautious hope, and we were pleasantly surprised! We arrived around 4 pm, so lunch options were a bit limited, but we ordered parotta, butter chicken, and a veg meal. The food genuinely blew us away — it tasted just like a home-cooked meal, full of warmth and authentic flavor. Having lived outside India for 5 years now and tried countless Indian restaurants abroad, I can confidently say this meal outshined them all. The accompaniments were a special highlight — the puli kulambu, sambar, and rasam all tasted exactly like what you'd get back home in India. And I can't forget the buttermilk — it was outstanding, tasting exactly like authentic South Indian "panthal more" (fellow South Indians will know exactly what I mean 😊). Last but not least, a special mention to Akash, who served us. He was incredibly polite, warm, and attentive throughout our visit — his hospitality truly made the experience even more memorable. It's rare to find such genuine, friendly service, and it added a wonderful personal touch to an already fantastic meal. If you're craving genuine, home-style Indian food in Prague, this place is an absolute must-try. Highly recommend!

Cosy atmosphere and the food is fantastic. We enjoyed a very creamy and tasty butter chicken with excellent garlic naan. All food is delicious and fine in taste as well as presentation.

Was here for a lunch and ate their South Indian Thali, Simple South Indian Thali with comfort food and good taste. Reminds me of home. Ambience and service is also quite good, they serve you with a good smile. Try it if you are looking for comforting South Indian meals.
