10/10 dining experience! The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was delicious and cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent service from start to finish. Definitely one of the best places we ate during our trip. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was my first time in Prague, so also my first time trying local food. This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, and honestly, I really enjoyed the experience. The food was good and a nice introduction to Czech cuisine. The atmosphere is pleasant and it’s a great place for both family and friends. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall: a great spot to discover local food with affordable price in a warm and friendly setting.
Excellent food and drink. The waiter/barman alex was lovely and friendly. Very typically czech food and the best pint of pilsner urquel i had in prague. We came here our first and last night would highly reccomend for any visitors who want an authentic local meal/pint.
Reviewing only the restaurant - Historic Venue with Incredible Food, Welcoming Energy and Reasonable Prices. I found Demínka to be an old-fashioned gem full of character and popular with the locals. The positive energy here instantly lifted my tired mood. Even during the dinner rush when the place was a buzz of activity, the restaurant's spacious layout meant there was no wait. A jovial barman warmly acknowledged me, and a waiter promptly showed me to a table. Dinner was a scrumptious plate of freshly prepared veal schnitzel with a lightly creamed potato salad. I could immediately smell the butter on the golden, crusty exterior. The meat inside was tender and juicy. Pairing the savory crunch of the schnitzel and the tangy potato salad with sips of foamy Pilsner and Kozel created a moments of pure bliss. The cutlets were so flavorful on their own that I didn't even need the lemon slice. The service is excellent—quick, attentive, and friendly. Although most patrons were dining in groups or pairs, I never felt out of place dining solo. Instead, I felt entirely welcome, as if I were in the great company of all the people who have enjoyed this historic venue over the years. Highly recommended!
