I thought this was a fun concept. The first day I tried to come here, they were out of the falafel & baba ganoush hummus that I wanted, but when I came back a little earlier the next day, they had it, and the waiters were very nice welcoming me back. The patio was full when I went around lunchtime, but the inside of the restaurant had plenty of seats available. I really liked the hummus - it was nice and smooth - and the crispy falafel. The baba ganoush was also good and mixed well with the hummus. The hummus looks expensive on paper, but it’s a huge serving. One serving of hummus is easily a full meal. If going as a couple or group, my suggestion would be to order salad(s) and one hummus to share. Suggestion for the restaurant: It would be nice if there was an option for fresh vegetables and/or pickles to go with the hummus in addition to bread. I had a tiger chai to drink, which was kind of mild but nice. I got the choco-almond cake for dessert, which I slightly regretted but only because I was so full from the hummus. It was a good cake, and not too sweet, so you could have it as dessert or as breakfast. The waiters were really excellent - very welcoming and attentive, and the food service was also relatively quick. This was the only restaurant I went to in Prague though where I was asked to leave a tip, which I felt kind of awkward about, though it would have been more awkward had they not been doing so well. It’s in the tourist district where there are some gimmicky places, but the hummus gimmick here works and is worth checking out. Would suggest coming with a bigger group if you can so that you can try different things, but it’s still worth the visit for just a plate of hummus.

Absolutely delicious. I came here twice in two days (out of 4 of vacation to visit Prague) for their hummus with baba ganush and falafels. I will come again to Prague to taste it! Good job guys! 😍

We had a wonderful experience at Kafka Hummus Café in Josefov. The café has a very warm and inviting atmosphere, with a stylish interior and great attention to detail. The staff was very friendly and helpful. But the real highlight is the food: fantastic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine with hummus in many delicious variations. A special mention goes to the Muhammara. Definitely my personal favorite. If you are visiting Prague and enjoy high-quality oriental and Mediterranean food, this café is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

We discovered Kafka Hummus Café just a short walk from our hotel (near Fairmont), and decided to try their breakfast instead of the hotel’s—and we have absolutely no regrets! The breakfast was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. You can really tell they put care into every dish. The atmosphere was just as impressive—the décor is beautiful, cosy, and full of character, making it such a lovely place to start the day. What made the experience even better was the staff. They were so warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot if you’re nearby—definitely worth skipping the hotel breakfast for this!

Nice place in the touristic area. There is a large variety of food to choose from. We shared the largest plate and it was more than enough. The hummus was very nice. Staff was friendly. Food came quickly. The restaurant is cozy and nice to sit down for a small bite or drink.
