A cute tavern like restaurant and bar. Cool cozy spot just between the river and old town. Food came quick. The server was very helpful and friendly, clearly enjoys his job. Food came out very quickly and tasted very good. A small hiccup with the food order but was ever so quickly fixed. Food seems small portioned but is in fact VERY filling. Great quality and great price. No problems or negative thoughts at all. The place is run really well and everyone is chill.
Very good food - my beef goulash was great and my wife really enjoyed her Smaženy Sýr. We also ordered honey cake for dessert and found it to be quite tasty. This place was crazy busy, I walked in on a Friday evening with no reservation and got very lucky; lots of people were being turned away who did not have a reservation, so make sure you have one especially on the weekend.
The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great flavors in a pleasant atmosphere. The fried cheese, pork knuckle, and ribs were delicious.
We came back , service was fine until we asked for water before we pay the bill. The manager at the bar seemed upset and said it's not free and whether we wanted still or sparkling. Think could have told us in a nicer tone that they only offer bottled water. We would have gladly paid, given we did order alcohol and mains and starters. Wish that nice server who waited on us the first night was around. Hence the cut in stars. First night: We had the goulash in bread and chicken noodle soup, the potatoes and cabbage snacks, plus local brews, paid ckr800 including tips. Really friendly, helpful and attentive service. Food is tasty too. Very knowledgeable staff, and can chat with you on everything. We would have more food if we weren't so tired from a late flight. Nice seating, lots of seats.
