Reviews
Had a really great evening at Amiata. We shared the charcuterie board (the cheeses were good but two of the salamis could be switched to something better), had the saffron risotto, the Petto d'anatra, and finished with a panna cotta. Everything tasted great, although the duck was a bit on the smaller side, so I'd recommend a starter if you're a big eater. We had a couple of mix-ups with one waitress (wrong wine and cocktail), but the rest of the team more than made up for it. One of them made sure our wine glasses were always topped up since there wasn't room for the bottle on the table, and did it without making us feel watched. Great service overall. Definitely a restaurant I'd recommend if you're looking for good Italian food and wine.
I ate duck with saffron risotto and we had AMAZING pistachio tiramisu after. It was very pleasant dinner. The staff was super nice and food was very tasty
What an experience! At the beginning we were served some focaccia for the table which was very nice start. Overall, the food was so delicious - for the main course we got a duck with rosemary risotto, pasta with shrimps and Pici pasta which were perfection. We also got a pistachio tiramisu which is hands down one of the best tiramisu’s I’ve ever had and pear sorbert was very good too. One tiny thing that I would maybe add was some background music outside on the terrace but that’s a little detail and a personal preference. Very nice restaurant overall, very friendly staff and delicious food. I will definitely be back soon!
Great find, the suggested homemade Pici Pistachio Pasta featured a rich, nutty, and creamy profile and totally surprised me in a good way. Sometimes it pays to allow your server to guide you through the menu. The Mushroom Risotto presents earthy, umami-driven, and velvety characteristics, but a little too concentrated for my taste. Wine options are on par with the food offering and price points are reasonable. We sat on the exterior patio because it was a sunny afternoon but they have a beautiful and expansive interior. I would eat here again.
The food was amazing! The pistachio pesto pasta was light, flavorful, had great texture. My main complaint was the wait time, the salad came about 5 minutes after ordering, then we waited a whole hour for the other two dishes. The restaurant was not busy either. The food was really good, but perhaps be ready for the wait.
