We enjoyed a very nice 7-course tasting menu with a super interesting wine pairing. The sommelier was great and offered us two wines per course, and we could then choose which wine to pair with the course.
Absolutely loved this restaurant! My wife had the sweet paprika pasta and I had the “favorite” listed on the menu (lots of meat)…both were delicious and portions were more than we can eat but we ate it all anyway. My wife’s chicken was the best we’ve ever had and my wife tends to not like the taste of meat. Our waiter was so nice and took great pride in his work. We could tell he really enjoyed seeing us enjoying our food. If we make it back to this beautiful city, we will definitely be eating here again.
What a great meal. The place is quite plain inside but the service and food were amazing. We had two plates, appetizer and desert. Everything was delicious. Our waiter brought us three bottles of wine to try. It was just a great experience.
We had an absolutely amazing dining experience here. We had the 7 course menu along with the wines. The staff were friendly and all the dishes were beautiful and delicious. We had many things that we had never tried before and were pleasantly surprised with all the nice dishes that were served. It was quiet in the restaurant, but we did not mind. We spent the whole evening enjoying the food. It is very good value for money and can definitely recommend everyone to come and dine here while in Prague!
This was something truly unique and special! They have two restaurants next to each other, a casual dining place that does Czech classics, which was full when we were there - and then next door a quieter room for the tasting menu. We took the wine flight with the tasting menu, and were very impressed with the service. For every course we had a choice of wine of different styles, and the waiter was happy to talk through them all. They were generous giving it out too. He displayed genuine knowledge and was able to understand our wine preferences. The food itself was exceptional. In each case taking a single aspect of the Czech environment or tradition and then playing with it in a modern way. The tartare steak was a highlight - heritage breeds - combined with quail egg. We also enjoyed the range of Czech spreads and butters, which really did us allow us to try so many different flavours. We must have been there 3 hours, so it was a full evening of entertainment, an excellent way to relax after a day out as a tourist.
