Reviews
This restaurant is famous for its incredible view of the Charles Bridge. I’ve heard that famous stars like Jolin Tsai (Taiwan) have even dined here with their teams! 🌟 We visited in mid-April and sat outdoors to enjoy the scenery. Even though the restaurant provided heaters and blankets, it was still a bit chilly, so dress warmly if you plan to sit outside during the shoulder season. ❄️🧣 The food overall was quite good and well-presented, though to be honest, no single dish stood out as exceptionally memorable. However, the service was top-notch. The staff were very attentive, and after our meal, the waiter even offered to help us call a taxi, which was a very helpful and thoughtful touch. 🚕 It is a fantastic spot if you are looking for a beautiful riverside atmosphere and professional hospitality in Prague. 🥂🇨🇿
It took approximately 135 minutes to complete a 5 course meal. Our appointment was at 5:30pm. We were the second couple to be seated in the downstairs outdoor/indoor tent area next to the water. Our first plate came out right away. After that each plate took up to 20 minutes. For the price, I expected more in the quality of service and food. Some of my dishes were somewhat cold. Overall, very disappointed. The crazy thing is, the restaurant wasn't packed. Another thing, the waiter constantly spilled water onto the table, utensils, and even into the wine glass. I don't understand why the music was so loud in a restaurant. Not a memorable meal. I suggest going to a diner. This may have been the worst service I had in eastern Europe. Update: Your response means nothing. Relax paced isn't being unattended to for 20+ minutes and watching customer who arrived after us leave. The three tables near us, had a different waiter and he was very good at his job. Attentive and constantly checking on his tables. Our waiter, was missing practically the entire night. I regret not speaking up sooner. Your lengthy response means nothing. I highly suggest you do not book this resturant for service or a pleasant experience.
The location is superb, views on the under deck were wonderful, so one should aim to visit even if theyre not having a meal. However the Food is delicious! So i recommend you go there for a meal around sunset so you get to enjoy the view before dark and after. The meal takes around 2-3 hours to get thru, plan accordingly. We were 10 people and got to order many things, everything was superb. Starters from the pumpkin soup, parmesan eggplant, pear carpaccio, beef tartar, romaine lettuce salad was fresh juicy and crunchy... Mains were exquisitely presented and cooked to perfection, from the burger, to veal entrecote, the cod, halibut, and arctic char with squid ink gnocchi. Topped it all off with chocolate fondant, and yogurt panacotta.
We had a wonderful experience. The welcoming lady at the entrance was very kind and made us feel comfortable right away. The waiter who served our table was extremely professional, explaining every dish and drink we ordered in detail. Everything was amazing — from the food to the view and the atmosphere. Such a lovely place. I highly recommend it!
