Reviews
Wonderful Italian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, quiet music, attentive service and a great wine list. Non-trivial dishes made of high quality ingredients. A real gem.
I recently had a great fine-dining experience at an elegant and beautifully designed restaurant with a refined atmosphere and excellent service throughout the meal. The food was outstanding, especially the cacio e pepe pasta, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, and the veal served on carrot cream, which was tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented with a great harmony of textures and taste. Overall, the combination of high-quality dishes, attentive service, and a pleasant upscale ambiance made it a very enjoyable and memorable dining experience.
We were seated at a small corner table, which had a very cozy and intimate feel—perfect for a chat with closet. 🥂 The service and overall environment were standard and professional. However, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. We ordered the Octopus and the Lobster, but it felt like these dishes might not be the restaurant's strongest suits. On the other hand, the Carbonara had a rather interesting and unique presentation that stood out. 🍝 While it is a decent dining spot, if you are specifically looking for Michelin-level quality or a truly standout culinary experience, there are probably better options available in Prague. A nice atmosphere, but the food left a bit to be desired for the price point. 🇨🇿
I was genuinely surprised by how delicious the steak was. I originally didn’t have much of an appetite and usually eat very little, but after tasting the steak, it actually made me want to order another dish. That rarely happens to me. The red wine was excellent, and the introduction was very professional. The risotto was of a very high standard — perfectly balanced, well-paired, and not overwhelming at all. I truly loved it. The staff member who introduced the wine list was extremely professional, and the server who helped us order was very enthusiastic and patient in explaining the menu, which helped us quickly understand the dishes. This is the restaurant where I have felt the happiest and most comfortable dining experience during my entire Eastern Europe trip. It was also a very touching moment for me — discovering such wonderful food made this journey even more meaningful.
Myself and my wife had the calamari and steak tartare which both were amazing, the long potato chips served with the tartare were excellent. My wife had salsify risotto with belly pork which she loved. I had the venison which was a beautifully cooked piece with a really rich sauce, my only criticism would be I would’ve liked to pour the sauce on the dish myself rather than have it poured by the waitress as it ended up all over the food. Service up to that point was attentive however after that we were somewhat forgotten and had to call several different waiters, because it was unclear who was actually taking care of our table. We had to ask for desert menus and then unfortunately when we decided on the cheese, it was not available. Overall lovely restaurant and food but service could’ve been improved.
