We had high expectations for our dinner at Marie B, but unfortunately both my wife and I left disappointed. The presentation was elegant and visually impressive, but the flavours were very inconsistent. The fish course was surprisingly bland and almost tasteless, while the lamb course had the opposite problem and was far too salty. For a tasting-menu restaurant at this price level, we expected much better balance and execution. Our bill came to around CZK 4,660 for two people, so this was not an inexpensive meal. We appreciate the creativity and effort behind the dishes, but ultimately the taste did not match the presentation or the price. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences of our Prague trip.
Amazing experience! The concept is really unique, never experience something so special. The food is so good that you would never want to leave. Special mention to the staff, they made the evening perfect. Wonderful people, attention to details, very much prepared and professional.
A fantastic experience! Visiting 'Marie B' was a true culinary adventure. The 'blind tasting' concept adds a special intrigue to every dish and allows you to perceive flavors from a completely different perspective. I particularly want to highlight the perfect balance of flavors, which is so important, and the exceptional quality of the ingredients. I was also pleasantly surprised by their excellent wine list, which paired amazingly well with the food. The level of service and the atmosphere truly deserve 5 stars. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding gastronomic experience in Prague. I wish great success to the wonderful team at 'Marie B'
Absolutely fantastic all around! More than a meal, a totally interactive dining experience. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, unique wine pairings that I would never be able to conceive, and most importantly; the food was delicious! Anyone seeking a different dining concept without compromising food quality...Marie B 100%!
Carte Blanche makes Marie B even more enjoyable! The food was great and the huge wine selection makes you want to try a wide variety (which we did). Also, the sommelier was very very knowledgeable and he knew his cellar quite well. Will come back!
