A wonderful experience all around! A professional waiter who was the perfect balance of attentive and giving us space. White glove treatment all the way. Great food in a beautiful and unique environment. Highly recommend!
Had the chicken with mac and cheese and the duck breast , the lamb shank , chestnut cake and a complimentary shrimp toast served on a bed of homemade goat cheese and all items were incredibly delicious. A lovely courteous waiter served us in a belfry which was a unique experience! Thank you for making my son’s bday special.
I haven't been to this restaurant in ten years, and i STILL talk about how delicious it was. The delight of dining in an old Gothic bell tower, with a window view overlooking the New Town of Prague. The waiter was kind and courteous, helping me go over the menu when I had no idea what I wanted because I was in the middle of being in awe at my surroundings. The delectable shrimp toast sent out by the chef really gave it the perfect touch of high society dining. I had the roasted piglet with fava beans and black lentils paired with a local pale ale at the waiter's suggestion. It is still, to this day, one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten.
Charming historic tower serving traditional food. Our server George made the evening meal very nice with his excellent service and warm demeanor. Food was beautifully plated. The lamb shank was perfect. Goat cheese salad was tasty. The duck breast and platter could have been exceptional however the duck was not tender. Sauce was tasty though as well as the potatoes and other accompaniments. The boar was not very good as it was tough as well. Disappointing. Hopefully it was an off night.
We went tonight for my wife's 40th birthday. There was a card waiting for her upon arrival. From the moment we went in staff were attentive, but patient and not intrusive. The chef sent a complimentary appetiser which was amazing. Each course was exquisite and to top it off we got free bubbly. I can rate this restaurant enough, I'd recommend to anyone. The only difficulty was choosing what to have off the extensive menu.
