Lokal Dlouhááá is a fantastic place to experience authentic Czech cuisine and beer. The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients, while the Pilsner Urquell is perfectly poured and tastes exceptional. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, giving you a real taste of local culture. The service was friendly, fast, and attentive despite the restaurant being busy. If you're looking for a genuine Czech dining experience in Prague, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!
I had a fantastic experience at Lokál in Prague. I tried the traditional Czech beef tartare, which was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served with crispy toasted bread—it was one of the highlights of the meal. I also enjoyed a classic Czech beef dish that was rich, hearty, and full of authentic flavour. To accompany the food, I sampled some traditional Czech beers, which were excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. I finished with a traditional biscuit dessert, a lovely sweet ending that completed the authentic Czech dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and lively, the service was friendly, and everything felt true to Czech tradition. If you’re visiting Prague and want to experience genuine local cuisine and great beer, Lokál is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
We visited Lokal on our very first day in Prague, and it was a wonderful experience. We did not have a reservation, but we were welcomed, and we waited around 15 minutes in the waiting area. The food and drinks are amazing. The staff helps you with your choice, and they patiently explain the menu to ensure an enjoyable dinner. They also come and check to see if everything is ok. I really like the decoration of the place. It is quite extraordinary because you enter a long hall filled with long tables. This creates a social atmosphere, and there are many local customers. The bar is also very stylish, and they serve local drinks. Special thanks to our friendly waitress Natalie for taking our orders and making our evening an enjoyable one.
Yhis place is definitely the go-to for trying out Czech cuisine. The place was packed, so we had to queue up a bit first, but we were already served our beer. I enjoyed my experience there. The staff was very friendly and recommended us dishes to try. I feel like the boiled potatoes could be done a bit better; they felt a bit dry. And I wish my kofola (cola) had ice in it. Nonetheless, beer is a must try!
If you want to experience true local Czech cuisine in Prague, Lokál Dlouhááá is an absolute must-visit. It exceeded all my expectations in terms of taste, atmosphere, and service. The food is incredibly delicious and truly reflects traditional Czech cooking. The flavors are rich but perfectly balanced, everything is fresh, hot, and carefully prepared. The traditional dishes, sauces, and sides are especially impressive and give you a real taste of the local culture. The service team also deserves special mention. They are fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. They take great care of their guests and make you feel more like a regular than a tourist. In terms of value for money, it is excellent. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service you receive. The atmosphere is cozy, lively, but still very comfortable – the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed meal. I would definitely come back without hesitation. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try authentic Czech food in a great local setting.
